this game would be awesome on an arcade cabinet

are there more modes or just one?

Something got updated 7 hours ago but I don't see what it was; what happened?

Well it looks like the game is free now. Which makes me more worried that this is being given up on.

Oh, was it the pricing? I already had it through a bundle that mixed free + paid titles so I didn't realize. In that case, mosey on over to One Finger Death Punch 2!

Is this going to be updated any time soon? When do you think there will be a full release on PC?

I don't quite get it. I got this game but it say it's alpha. Is there a full version?

PS: So the full version is on mobile. Can you bring the full version on PC. This is not even marked as a demo.

Ah, okay. I understand. The Mobile version makes money compared to the PC vesion. Still this should be free than and marked as demo.

Well, you got half of your wish, it seems. It's free here now

This game is simple, yet really, really fun! While as of now there is only one character, the changes in color and skins stop him from feeling boring and repetitive.

Thank you! Yeah, we figured randomizing outfits a bit would help keep things fresh :D

Very fun, but my score is always restart for some reason and randomly shuts off as well

Sorry about that! It’s odd, what operating system are you using?

I had a lot of fun playing this game! Easy to pick up and difficult to master!

Your game was the first one in the video. The hardest part for me are the bombs. I keep thinking, "yeah I can totally slice those."

Awesome, thank you so much!

This was a lot of fun. Playing this made me feel like I was back at the arcade inserting coins into the machine to try my luck again. I would love to see a cabinet for this.

Oh yeah ? Check this out : :P

Thank you so much for the kind words!

How can a two button game be so damn fun? Perfect pickup and play hot seat party game. If you fail it's totally on you and you instanly want to try again. Laughed like a child playing this.

Thank you so much! We actually had 2 "multiplayer" modes built for an event but they're not in this build. You comment definitely makes us want to revisit those haha!

You're more than welcome, keep up the fine work. (still playing this daily)

This is so cool haha! Don't hesitate to join our Discord ( to share your experience with the game with us!

Loving this! I was a big fan of OFDP/OFDP2, and it's great to see a game take the concept further.

My only quibble with the PC version as it stands so far is the button mapping. I prefer playing with the face buttons on the XBox controller, and while it appears the X and B buttons are supported, the B button also pauses the game, so it's not really usable. (I'm aware the PC build is still in development, so I understand that there's going to be a few things like this.)

Oooh, we're really sorry about that! There are so many quirks with controller support it's crazy, there's nothing normalized. Really sorry it's behaving this way with your controller, and thank you so much for your compliments!

We won't get onto this problem right away, we're currently planning our exact roadmap and future improvements to the game, but it'll be one of our top priority fixes obviously!

Really great game, fast paced and with cute graphics, I love playing it times to times to beat my high score :)

Thank you so much!

LibGDX! But under the hood it's indeed using OpenGL :)

So you don't even mention OFDP on your whole product page? Interesting...

It's clearly an inspiration, there's no shame in sharing that.

You're absolutely right, we should have mentioned it on the game's page! We fixed that, thank you for bringing it to our attention :)

Very welcome, we've added your title to our best of the bundle collection :)

Thanks a lot and thanks for this collection, it'll help people a lot I think in finding cool games!

Will there be a coop mode? :o

We had a pretty cool special multiplayer mode coded for an event (the Japan Expo in 2019 in Paris), and it was fairly successful!

As part of our planning for this PC version we will absolutely consider what kind of multiplayer & social options we can give players! Don't hesitate if you have suggestions about that, it's actually quite hard coming up with coherent multiplayer/coop features that would work well with the gameplay!

As far as I can tell the MacOS_Linux version does not in fact have a compiled Linux image.

Hey, could you elaborate a bit on this? Did you encounter an issue with the game on Linux? It might be an oversight on our end! (we use both Windows & Mac)

(1 edit)

You literally have no Linux app in that zip.  Both folders are for Mac, and searching under them there is no binary executable compatible for Linux.  It could be an oversite when you were making that zip initially.

Oh right, sorry about that it's definitely an oversight! We'll look into that!

In the meanwhile you can start the game through the desktop-1.0.jar file, our executables are just shortcuts that ultimately run this JAR file (which should run under any distro & OS)

Is this still in development for PC?

Hey there, right now the development is on hold as we were finalizing the mobile version of the game (which came out a few days ago). It's very different from this PC prototype.

Now that the mobile version released, we are working on getting plans ready for the PC & consoles versions of the game (estimating what we want to see in them, financing, etc). So we'll share more news about this soon!

Ah yes, I see the OFDP inspiration

Did...did I see their hair turn into a fist? Is that an actual attack? :D
